Description

No. 1 Market Street is a property located adjacent to the rear of the Town Hall in Egremont, built around 1889-1890. The building is constructed from snecked rubble and features quoins, topped with a graduated slate roof. It has two storeys and two bays. The entrance consists of a panelled door with a fanlight, set within a segment-headed surround. To the left of the door, there is a pair of sash windows, and above, there are two additional sash windows, all framed by segment-headed surrounds.
