Description

No. 57 Main Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of pebble-dashed rubble and features a graduated slate roof with cast-iron guttering. The building has two storeys and four bays. There is a panelled door accessed by steps, which has wrought-iron handrails. On either side of the door, there are sash windows on each floor. To the far right, there is a garage door with a sash window above it. All the sashes are set within stone surrounds. This building is included for its group value.
