Description
This is a farmhouse and barn, likely built in 1827 for the Graham family. The structure is made of red sandstone rubble and river cobbles, topped with a graduated green slate roof and featuring cream brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two stories high with four bays, while the barn is L-shaped with two bays. The farmhouse includes two plank doors set in plain stone surrounds, each with a glazed fanlight above. It also has sash windows with glazing bars, framed by plain stone surrounds. The barn to the right has large plank doors and a casement window with glazing bars above, along with a smaller entrance featuring a plank door to the left. This building is listed partly for its group value with Kirkandrews Tower.
