Description

Ellen Grove is a house built in the early 19th century. It features cement rendered walls with a string course, a parapet, and angle pilasters, all resting on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has cement rendered chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has four bays. There is a panelled door with an intersecting-bar overlight located within an Ionic porch. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars set in painted stone surrounds. To the left, there is a further plain boarded door in a pilaster surround beneath a cornice. The outbuildings at the rear are not of interest.
