Description

Bowder House is an early 19th-century house located in Bowness. It features cement rendered walls resting on a squared painted plinth and has a graduated greenslate roof with cement rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a glazed fanlight, set within a pilastered surround topped with a modillioned cornice. To the right of the main entrance is a plank door in a similar surround. The house also has sash windows with glazing bars, framed by painted stone architraves.
