Description

Bowness Hall is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed with Flemish bond brickwork set on a chamfered plinth, featuring painted V-jointed quoins. The building has a graduated greenslate roof and yellow brick chimney stacks. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance includes a 20th-century door framed by a pilastered doorcase topped with an open-pedimented cornice. The windows are two-pane sashes set in painted stone surrounds. An extension to the right and outbuildings to the left are not of interest.
