Description

The Crown Inn is an early 19th-century public house located on The Green in Maryport. It is built of sandstone and has two storeys topped with a double-span slate roof. The façade features three windows set within stone surrounds, with stone pilasters at each end. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows flanking the entrance, which is sheltered by a modern wooden porch. To the right, there is a modern window also in a stone surround, along with a modern brick entry. Attached to the inn is a two-storey storage building that includes a hoist door on the first floor.
