NY 02 SE LAMPLUGH 3/56 Low Leys farmhouse with adjoining scullery & courtyard entrance

Farmhouse; deeds go back to 1580 but present house C17/C18 with later additions and alterations. Wet-dashed rubble with cornice to house. C20 concrete-tiled roof with outshuts to rear; rendered chimneys. 2 storeys; main house 3 bays, symmetrical. Central door with paired sash to either side and 3 sashes above; 2-bay scullery extension to right has plank door in chamfered surround with sash to each floor on right. All sashes with glazing bars in stone surrounds. Large wagon arch, with plank loft door and small fixed window above, leads through to outer courtyard on right; stone steps to loft on left in passage. Interior: Some C18 panelled doors; heavy beaming with main beams downstairs supported on turned wooden columns behind window mullions. Stone stairs to rear with late C17 splats and square, panelled newels to handrail.
