Description
The gate piers to Rowrah Hall date from 1739 and feature initials R. & D.S. on the left-hand pier. They are made of rusticated stone and are squat and square in plan, standing about 7 feet high. Each pier has a cornice that was originally topped with acorn finials on diagonally-set plinths, although these finials were removed by the time of the survey.
