Description

Cromwell Cottage is likely a mid-18th century house. It is constructed of rendered cob with a thatched roof. Originally, the house comprised two units, now expressed as a two-storey, four-window front. The first floor has four 2-light 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars. The ground floor features two 3-light casement windows of a similar style. A hipped roof incorporates a central rendered stack. A 20th-century porch is situated on the left gable. The rear elevation is largely similar, with 20th-century windows. The building is listed as a good example of a cob construction.
