Description

Orton Holding is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of chequered brick and features a slate roof. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century casements set beneath plain arches. A central six-panelled door is topped by a 20th-century hood. There are brick stacks at each end of the house. To the left of the door, there is a fire insurance plaque. The left gable is made of limestone. The interior has not been inspected.
