Description

The Laurels is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It features a combination of chequered brick and rendered cob, which is partly painted, topped with a slate roof. Originally designed with a three-unit plan, it has been altered to an L shape. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range of casements of varying sizes, all set under brick arches and wooden lintels. There is a partially glazed door located to the right. The house has brick gable parapets and brick stacks at both the ridge and the end. A 19th-century wing extends from the far right side of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
