Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar lias and has a slate roof with a double depth plan. The building is two storeys high and features a symmetrical south front with a five-window range. The central entrance has a six-panelled door surrounded by a plain stone frame with a keyblock, and it is accessed by a semi-circular flight of steps. The original openings contain 19th-century sash windows, which also have plain stone surrounds with keyblocks. There is a flat string course between the floors, and the hipped roof is topped with a moulded stone cornice and brick stacks at the ridge. The side and rear elevations are similar in design. Inside, the rooms to the left and right of the entrance have fielded panelled shutters.
