Description
Manor House is a house dating from the 17th century, consisting of two builds and remodelled around 1930. It is constructed of coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, with the right bay made of squared coursed ironstone. The roof is covered with asbestos tiles and features stone stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays.
The doorway, located in the second bay from the left, is likely from the 20th century and features a four-centred stone arch, an entablature with a dentil cornice, and a plank door. To the left of the doorway is a window with a square stone hood and a 20th-century three-light wood casement. The right bay and the second bay from the right also have similar windows. To the right of the doorway, there is a one-light window with a stone lintel. On the first floor, there are two- and three-light windows that have wood lintels, wood mullions, and iron casements, all with leaded panes.
At the rear, there is an extension from around 1930 designed in a Tudor style. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have two open fireplaces.
