Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on the west side of Main Street, Middleton Cheney. A datestone reading WH/1699 is visible on the central stack. The house is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and limestone, with a thatched roof and brick and stone stacks. It is two storeys and has an attic, with two bays. A doorway, located to the right of the centre, has a wooden lintel and a six-panel door. All windows retain their original wooden lintels and now have 20th-century two-light wooden casements. One gable end has a coping with kneelers. The interior has not been inspected.
