Description

This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately 4 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Blisworth. Dating from the late 17th to the 18th century, the tombs are made of limestone. Two of the tombs feature chamfers on the underside of the ledger, with one commemorating John Brafield, who died in 1677, and his wife Alice, who died in 1688. The tomb furthest to the east is from the 18th century and has fluted pilasters at the corners, along with circular inscription panels.
