Description

No. 8 Nuns Lane is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed ironstone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof with a 19th-century brick stack at one end. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. There are three 19th-century wooden casement windows, with two located on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Each window has wooden lintels above and brick sills below. The door is also from the 19th century, featuring four panels and a lintel above. A cornice made of moulded stone is present, and the left gable is coped with kneelers.
