Description

No. 3 King Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, specifically 1770. It is constructed from ironstone ashlar and features a thatched roof with a brick stack at one end. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. The windows are 19th-century three-light casements with wooden lintels above. The entrance includes a four-panelled door, also with a wooden lintel above it. A datestone above the door is inscribed with "H/WA/1770". The house is adorned with stone quoins and has stone coped gables with kneelers.
