Description
The garden walls and gateways located approximately 30 to 50 meters west, north, and east of Westhill House date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of brick with stone coping. The wall on the west side features a gateway towards the south end with a moulded stone frame, and another gateway at the north end, also with a moulded stone frame and a segmental pediment. A similar gateway is found at the north end of the east wall. There is a break roughly midway along the east wall, and the garden enclosure continues with a separate L-shaped section of wall to the southeast. These structures form part of a three and a half sided garden enclosure at Westhill House and are included for their group value.
