Description

This icehouse, dating from the mid-18th century, is constructed of red brick. It features a tunnel-vaulted passage that leads to a domed chamber, which is covered by an earth mound. The icehouse is located by a lake in the former park of Horton Hall, which was demolished in 1936, near The Green Bridge.
