Description

The Lily Pond Bridge is a bridge dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone and features a single-arched design with a low elliptical arch that includes a keyblock. The bridge has a chamfered cornice, and its approaches curve outwards. It is adorned with a wrought-iron balustrade topped with a timber handrail. This bridge once connected the pleasure grounds of Horton Hall, which was demolished in 1936, to the park.
