Description

The icehouse, dating from the late 18th century, is constructed of brown brick and has a circular plan. It features a deep well and a tall domed vault above. There is a small inner doorway at the far end of a short barrel-vaulted passage, leading to a round-arched entrance doorway. The icehouse is partly built into the hillside, creating a man-made mound within a wooded area.
