Description

New Park Barn, located approximately 75 metres east of Fox Covert Farmhouse, is a barn dating from around 1770. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features a slate roof. The barn has a central cart entrance that is adorned with brick dressings and is flanked by turrets, which were originally castellated and have a blank arcade at ground level. Additionally, there are slit ventilators present. This barn was built as a folly by the Earl of Strafford and Wentworth.
