Description
Park Cottages are two houses built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of regularly coursed lias stone and feature a plain tiled roof. The buildings have a three-unit plan and stand two storeys tall with an attic. The front has a four-window range that includes 19th and 20th-century casements. To the left gable, there is a 20th-century crenellated turret, and a crenellated arch is located next to the right gable. Brick stacks are positioned at the ridge and at the end of the buildings. On the north elevation, there is one ogee-headed window. The houses were converted into an eyecatcher, likely by the Earl of Strafford and Wentworth. The interiors have not been inspected.
