Description

Griffin Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century and early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed lias rubble and features a thatched roof. The building has a two-unit plan and consists of two ranges, with a single storey and an attic. There are three casement windows with leaded lights, two eyebrow dormers, and brick stacks located at the ridge and end. A 20th-century wing has been added to the rear, which includes an entrance. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a bressumer.
