Description

This headstone, dating from the early 18th century, is made of limestone and is located approximately 6 meters southwest of the west corner of the south porch of the Church of St. Leonard in Aston-le-Walls. It features a square inscription plaque that is framed by volutes and topped with scrolls and a winged cherub's head. The inscription on the headstone is mostly illegible, but it is dated 1700.
