Description

Jasmine Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and has an asbestos tile roof with flanking brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and features two bays. The central doorway has a re-used pointed stone arch with continuous mouldings, likely from the 14th century, and a plank door. The porch is supported by decorative cast iron columns from the 19th century. On either side of the doorway are windows with wood lintels and 2-light wood casements. There is a similar window in the left bay on the first floor, and a 3-light casement window with a wood lintel in the right bay. The interior has not been inspected.
