Description
No. 1 High Street is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a thatch roof and brick stacks at the ends and ridge. The building has a three-unit plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. The entrance features a four-panel part-glazed door on the left, topped with a timber lintel. To the right of the door, there is a two-light casement window with brick jambs on the left and a timber lintel above. The center of the ground floor has a three-light casement window with a diamond stop-chamfered timber lintel, while the right side has a similar window with a chamfered lintel. On the first floor, there are two-light windows, each with timber lintels. At the rear left, there is a single-storey brick extension. The interior has not been inspected.
