Description

No. 4 Sheards Lane is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a thatched roof and brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with an attic, featuring a three-window range. There are timber lintels above a plank door that is sheltered by a mid-20th century timber porch. The windows are late 19th-century casements. The roof is hipped, with stacks at the ridge and right gable end. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
