Description

This early 19th-century Baptist chapel is constructed of chequered brickwork and has a slate roof. It is a single-story building with a gallery. The symmetrical front facade has a three-window arrangement. The ground-floor windows have shallow arched heads with cast iron centre pivot sashes, while the first-floor windows have arched heads with cast iron casements. A central entrance is accessed via a plank and braced door set within a simple pilastered and entablature surround. The roof is hipped. The side and rear elevations are similar, featuring tall arch-headed windows.
