Description
This building is a wash house located between numbers 18 and 19 in Little Brington, built around 1848 by E. Blore. It is constructed of brick and squared coursed lias with ashlar dressings and has a plain tiled roof. The wash house has a one-unit plan and is a single-storey structure. It features a large three-light casement window with a transom, cast iron diamond panes, and an ashlar surround in the end gable. There is a brick and stone stack at one end and a plank door on the side. This wash house is part of a planned layout that includes six houses and the wash house itself, which are numbers 16 to 21 Little Brington.
