Description

The Junior School, built around 1850 by P.C. Hardwick, is a school constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. It features a main hall that is two storeys high, with a master's house to the left and classrooms to the right. The hall has a large, four-light window designed in the Perpendicular style, while the classrooms have stone mullioned and transomed windows. To the left, there is a half-timbered porch. The building is adorned with ashlar gable parapets and includes a bellcote on the hall. It has central brick stacks and similar elevations at the rear and sides.
