Description

This chest tomb, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 3 meters south of the southeast corner of the nave of the Church of St. Mary in Staverton. It is made of ironstone and features an oval inscription plaque adorned with cherub's heads in shallow relief on all sides. The tomb has a fragmentary inscription that includes the date 1775.
