Description
Home Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, with a datestone marked G.J.M. 1712 located in the center on the first floor. The building is constructed of ironstone ashlar, with a cornice that has been rebuilt in brick and a tile roof, featuring flanking brick and stone stacks. It has two storeys plus an attic and consists of four bays. A 20th-century conservatory spans the second and third bays from the left. The inner doorway in the second bay from the left features a wooden lintel, a moulded wood frame, and a six-panel part-glazed door. All windows are fitted with stone lintels that include key-blocks and 20th-century wooden casements. There are two flat-roofed dormers, each with two-light casements, and the gable ends are coped with kneelers. The interior has not been inspected.
