Description

Beaumont Villa is a circa 1860 house built in the Italianate style by William Hull. It is stucco-faced with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate, featuring a bracketed cornice. The house is three storeys high, with mainly sash windows, some of which are round-headed. The lower east wing has an eight-panelled door with a fanlight, set within an inner surround of rusticated pilasters, an archivolt, a keyblock, and an outer surround of Corinthian pilasters under a dentil pediment. The west front has a ground floor colonnade and three sash windows above; the first-floor windows are pedimented with consoles. Beaumont Villa forms a group with Sunnyside and Springfield.
