Description
30 and 30A Billing Road is a building from 1863 designed in the Gothic style, featuring a largely original and ornate interior. It is constructed of yellow brick with stone dressings and red brick cambered relieving arches, topped with a Welsh slated roof. The building has two storeys, along with a three-storey tower that includes a concave spire roof and a first-floor canted oriel bay window on the west side elevation. The south front elevation displays a gable on the left and two gabled half dormers. Stone mullion and transom casement windows are also present. This building was constructed for Mr. Shoosmith, the Town Clerk.
