Description

This headstone, dating from the late 17th century, is located approximately 10 meters west of the southwest corner of the south aisle of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. It is made of ironstone and features a square inscription plaque set within an elaborately carved frame. The frame includes twisted columns and is topped with a segmental pediment, adorned with swags of fruit and flowers, as well as a winged cherub's head. The inscription is fragmentary, with the date 1698 visible, but no name can be discerned.
