The main gateway of St Andrew's Hospital, dating from the late 19th century, features fine wrought ironwork crafted in a traditional style. It includes two fold gates, gate piers, and quadrant railings set on low red brick walls. This gateway, along with the hospital's chapel, chaplain's house, and occupational therapy house, forms a notable group of buildings of local interest.
