Description

Three Corners is a cottage dating to the 17th century. It is constructed of ironstone and cobs, with a plain tile roof and brick ridge stacks. The cottage has a four-unit plan and a five-window front, arranged over two storeys. The street frontage follows the curve of the road and is rendered and painted white. The ground floor windows are a mix of two-light and one-light openings, with one replacing a former doorway. A 20th-century door is set within a 20th-century porch to the rear. The windows are largely 20th-century casements, with additional 20th-century dormer windows. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer and a bread oven. Visible are also chamfered spine beams and a collar truss roof. The cottage is listed for its group value.
