Description
Nos. 193B, 195, and 195A on Watling Street West are a house and shops dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. The building is timber-framed with end walls made of coursed squared ironstone and features an old plain-tile roof with brick stacks at each end. It has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. The ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts on either side of a passage leading to the rear. The first floor features two canted bay windows and close studded framing, which was originally jettied. There are also two roof dormers.
