Description

No. 50 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with a stuccoed main facade and features a slate roof with a brick stack at each end. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. The windows are late 18th century Gothick sashes, each with 16 panes. Above the windows, the lintels have keyblocks and are also stuccoed. The door, which is from the 19th century, is part-glazed and has a moulded lintel. The doorcase is decorated with reeded pilasters and an entablature above. The quoins of the building are stuccoed. There is an earlier range at the rear of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
