Description
No 8 Spencer Parade is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slates. The building has two storeys and is characterized by quoins, a plinth, floor and sill bands, a bracketed cornice, and a blocking course. There are two sash windows with architrave surrounds and a central dummy window. The entrance includes a door with a rectangular fanlight that has glazing bars, all set within an architrave surround under a cornice supported by consoles. To the left, there is a wing at an angle that features a two-storey canted bay and attics. This building is part of a group with Nos 1 to 8 Spencer Parade and No 1 Cheyne Walk.
