Description

This dovecote, located approximately 40 meters north of Wellington House Farmhouse, dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof with a square plan and a pyramid roof, although the glover is now missing. The entrance consists of a plank door, and there is a 19th-century casement opening. Inside, there are about 510 nesting boxes made from coursed rubble and stone slabs.
