Description

This dovecote, located approximately 25 meters northeast of the Rectory, likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed from regularly coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The dovecote has a circular plan and a conical roof topped with a circular glover. There is a 19th-century single-light leaded casement window and a small plank door beneath a wooden lintel. The interior still contains nesting boxes and it was probably converted into a summer house in the 19th century.
