Description

This stable, now used as a workshop, dates from the mid-18th century and is located approximately 10 meters north of Alley Farmhouse (No. 30) on Drayton Road in Lowick. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a roof made of Collyweston slate and corrugated asbestos. The rear elevation of the stable has central 20th-century doors, while the stable door is located under wooden lintels. The right gable displays a partially legible datestone and two hayloft openings at the apex. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
