Description

Lowick Mill is a watermill, later converted into a house, dating from the mid-18th century and restored in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a pantile roof. Originally, the mill likely comprised three sections, including the mill itself and a house. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and has a four-window front featuring 20th-century casement windows under wooden lintels. A 20th-century porch is located to the left of the centre. Three flat-topped roof dormers are visible. Brick stacks are positioned at the ridge and end of the roof. The original mill buildings probably extended to the left of the main front facade.
