Description

Manor Farmhouse is an early to mid-18th century farmhouse. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and has thatch, pantile, and concrete tile roofs. The original layout comprised three units. The farmhouse is a single storey with an attic, and has a four-window front. The windows are mainly 19th and 20th century casements; those on the ground floor are beneath wood lintels, and those to the attic are set within eyebrow dormers. A 20th century door is centrally positioned, and a 17th or 18th century plank door is located to the right, sheltered by a 19th century hood. Brick stacks are visible at the ridge and end of the building. In the 19th century, single-unit, two-storey extensions were added to the left and right sides. The extension to the left has a concrete tile roof, while the extension to the right has a pantile roof. The rear elevation is similar, also featuring eyebrow dormers. The interior was not inspected, but it likely contains ceiling beams and remnants of open fireplaces.
