Description

Owl Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan, and the building is a single storey with an attic. The front has a two-window range of casements with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. There is a brick stack at one end, and the right gable has been partially rebuilt in brick. The rear elevation includes a 20th-century entrance and an eyebrow dormer in the attic above. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
