Description

Bijou Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a pantile roof. The building has a one-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a one-window range with a casement window that includes glazing bars, positioned under a wooden lintel. To the left, there is a plank door, also under a wooden lintel. At the end of the building, there is a brick and stone stack. The left gable has two similar casement windows. A 20th-century lean-to has been added to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
