Description

This is a house located at 39 Lower Street in Great Doddington, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a pantile roof. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, with a two-window range of 20th-century casements set under wooden lintels. A central 20th-century door is flanked by a porch, and there are brick stacks at both ends of the building. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have chamfered ceiling beams and an open fireplace with a bressumer.
